This weekend Hadfield take on Northern Saints at Charles Mutton Reserve.

Half Back Flanker – Number 7 – Milestone Man – Jacob McKerchar is playing his 300th Game with his fellow teammates at Hadfield.

Jacob started playing football with Hadfield at the young age of 6 with the Under 10’s. He continued through his years playing with Haddy and was in the victorious Under 16’s they won the Grand Final Flag. He later played with the Under 18’s Grand Final team but were defeated that year.

He decided it was time to try a change of hand and moved divisions to start playing with the VAFA – Therry Penola OB Football Club for a year. He chose to return to Hadfield when the club was struggling for support and currently Captain’s their Senior side.

In 2017 Jacob won Season 2017 Senior Best & Fairest for Hadfield

Pre-Season for 2018

Just a reminder that pre-season will be Tonight – Monday 27th November at 6 pm.

B.B.Q. – Directly after training to fill your hungry hard working bellies!

Guys, it’s really important we get everyone down to training before Christmas, we will have plenty of new faces so there will be heavy emphasis on getting to know one another and start to build that team culture nice and early.

Training will not be about “smashing guys with heaps of running” but more heavily focused on training, the style of footy we want to play going forward. If you are missing sessions – you will fall behind.

Really looking forward to seeing everyone at training tonight – it’s the start of the journey to get our club back to being a force on and off the ground again.
